Google released Gemini 2.5 Flash last week - commonly known as Nano Banana.  I've watched about 20 videos on the technology and it's nothing short of amazing.

Today I had a request from a client to upload an image to their site that reflects how the foundation disperses funds.  The original was, to say the least, boring.

Here's the final output after 4 iterative prompts: (the logo and text were added manually - it just couldn't get that placed correctly).

Here's the iterative prompt:

  1. provide an enhanced version of this image that has more contrast, vibrant colors etc. without changing the data it represents. remove the white background and add an image that depicts giving through a community foundation
  2. keep this image, but change people on the left and right. They should be older - mid-50's. Provide some bokeh to the image - F2.0 to better distinguish between the chart and the background image. remove the logo (it had added a fake logo)
  3. maintain this image and add this logo to it in the top left corner (remove the white background) Add the text "Your Support Distributed Nationally". I uploaded the logo.  It just didn't turn out that well.

Unfortunately (at least for now), this is not available within your Drupal website with the AI module.  That may change at any time - but it doesn't really have to!  I wrote another blog post over my personal site: https://imrodmartin.com/ai/goolges-gemini-25-nano-banana

The point is... if you're a product photographer, graphic artist etc. your job just changed... forever and this is as bad as it will ever be...
